Bringing Magic and Sparkle to Kids

Our holiday toy drive is going from strength to strength and has brought smiles to hundreds of less fortunate children and families in the Cleveland metropolitan area and Columbus. Seeing these kids open a gift that’s just for them is so special.  But we want to do more and this year, we are going all out to make our 2017 holiday drive the biggest yet.

In Cleveland, we have teamed up once again with The Cleveland Police Foundation who aid in the collection and distribution of toys, not only during the holiday season, but throughout the year.  Our goal this year is break our record by collecting 1,500 toys for local kids so we need your help!

How can I contribute?

Save the Date - December 13th 2017 Toy Drive Networking Event

We are also hosting a toy drive networking event in Cleveland on December 13th @ 5-7pm at Skylight's penthouse in Ohio City.  Admission is one new, unwrapped toy or a $20 donation. There will be food, drinks, and members of the Cleveland Police Foundation to speak about the impact the Skylight Holiday Toy Drive has on Cleveland. Stick around and there might even be a special guest appearance by Santa Claus!

Unable to attend?

If you are unable to attend the networking event but would still like to participate, please do not hesitate! The toy drive will be collecting donations from Monday, November 6th – Thursday, December 14th. To contribute, please bring unwrapped gifts to Skylight Financial Group, or offer a monetary donation at www.skylightfoundation.com/donate.

Many thanks for your support.

In previous years, the following local organizations, who do fantastic work for kids in our community, have benefited for the Skylight Foundation toy drive:

  • The Cleveland Police
  • Partners of Lutheran Hospital, Cleveland
  • Washington Township Fire Department
  • Firefighters 4 Kids
  • Franklin County Children Services (FCCS) and CASA (the Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children)
  • Positive Education Program (PEP)
  • Urban Community School (UCS)

See the smiling faces for yourself, by checking out photographs from our 2015 and 2014 toy drive.

“The amazingly generous people of the Skylight in Ohio City conducted a toy drive for area children. A staggering amount of toys were collected and were distributed through all five police districts by police personnel and at the annual Second District Children's Christmas Party. The generosity of these wonderful people is absolutely inspirational!”

“These gifts went a long, long way in helping some parents in the local community who were finding it a struggle to provide simple Christmas gifts for their children this year - having fallen on rough times recently. We really appreciate the effort that Skylight made to help us help our clients.  It is greatly appreciated”.
